Christopher Evert Mull, age 40, passed away July 25, 2025, at his home. Chris was born July 3, 1985, in Cleveland County. He was the son of Marcus Nathan Mull and Teresa Anthony Mull.
Chris was a true musician. He was not only a former lead singer in a band, but he also wrote lyrics and music. He loved guitars, and he enjoyed buying, selling, and trading music equipment. Chris was his daddy’s rockstar and his brother’s best friend. He worked for Strickland Brothers, where he was a tech and a former assistant manager. Chris was also a former forklift operator for numerous companies. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Chris loved everyone, especially his nieces and nephews, and had a heart of gold.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his brother, Marcus Nathan Mull II, of Cherryville; sister, Scarlett Anthony (Bradley), of Lincolnton; grandmothers, Shirley Williams, of Kings Mountain, and Judy Anthony, of Cherryville; nephews, Nathan, and Oakley; nieces, Kayla, and Zoey; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at Oak Grove Baptist Church – 445 Tot Dellinger Rd, Cherryville, NC 28021, with Preacher Jack Calloway officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM until 4:45 PM, prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Marcus Mull II – 557 Fisher Rd. in Cherryville.
