NOLTE – Christopher Venning Nolte, 43, of
Oxford, GA, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023.
Chris made a name for himself early on by being loving, caring, Christ-centered, more than a little daring, and always ready to lend a helping hand. His love of travel started as a teen. When he was in high school, he left for the summer to volunteer with Teen Missions International in Australia. During his time at South Gwinnett High School he was a member of the National High School Rodeo Association where he competed in bull riding. After graduation he drove out West to study Equine Dentistry where we can be sure his radio was on Saturday Night Country Gold. Through his love of motorsports he found a place in the racing world with RB1 and TH Motorsports where he traveled all over the United States. In 2000, Chris became owner and operator of Outback Companies, Inc. They specialized in commercial and residential roofing and had clients across the southeast.
Chris was a quiet observer with a laugh that was contagious. Known for his generosity, love of adventure, and occasional mischief. His family and friends knew him as their go to, the one that they could always depend on to be there. He was an easygoing, hard-working, always smiling, one call away kind of guy. An adventurer at heart, Chris was always ready for family and friend beach trips to Hilton Head and Fripp Island, mountain get-aways and always ready to jump in the car for last minute vacations. Water, whether it be lake days or sitting at Lake Varner working, was his serenity and being outdoors, hunting, fishing or just being, filled his soul. He lived life true to himself, head on, always appreciating life to its fullest.
More than anything he loved his family. His wife and kids, all seven of them, were his world. He loved spending time with them and making memories. From every day sporting events to birthday days to family vacations he always felt experiences were far greater than any earthly things ever could be.
Chris is survived by his wife, Daneka Williams Nolte; children, Brayden (Brooke), Abby, Jacey, Alyssa, John, Gunnar, and Wyatt; mother, Debbie Williams (Reid); stepmother, Caroline Nolte; brother, Charles Nolte (Christie); sister, Tiffany Williams Hill; and a long list of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who loved and adored him. He was preceded in death by his father, Hampton Venning Nolte.
