Christopher John Saucedo "Sauce", Beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many was embraced by God and entered eternal rest on Monday, December 16, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 49. He was born on May 27, 1975, in San Antonio, Texas.
Chris is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Andrew and Enriqueta Arriaga, paternal grandmother Felipa Saucedo and step grandmother Santos Gonzales.
He is survived by his daughter Lisette Reanna Mills (Michael), son Christopher John Saucedo Jr "CJ", his mother Theresa Arriaga, father Alejandro Rodriguez Jr (Sylvia), brother Alejandro Rodriguez III (Roxanne), Jason Rodriguez (Carmen), Ezequiel Rodriguez (Alejandra), his Saucedo half-brothers, half-sisters Lisa Ortega and Amanda Rodriguez, his niece and nephews.
Chris had a loving personality and a smile that lit up the room. He loved his family and so many friends he considered family. Chris knew no strangers; he spoke to anyone and everyone while always cracking jokes. He was blessed with a loving spirit and kind heart.
Chris loved and was so proud to be a father to his children Lisette and CJ. He embraced fatherhood, his children were his world. He was a hands-on dad. He was involved in their school events as well as any sports. They loved their Dad. May his love, caring heart and laughter carry on through them.
Chris was an athlete growing up, he played baseball, then in middle school started playing football which was his then passion. He played until his freshman year. A few years later he began playing 6-man football and enjoyed playing for as long as he did.
Chris was also blessed with a God given talent to sing. He started singing Karaoke but his passion to sing moved him to start his own band which is when Chris Saucedo and New Age Outlaws was created. Chris also began writing songs which he ended up recording this CD "Leaving San Antone" as the Chris Saucedo Band. He then got together with Chris Salinas and sister Casi to sing with Big Country Band. He loved all his fellow band families and followers. His legacy will live on and may his music play forever.
