Christopher Nelson Stiff

Christopher Nelson Stiff, 72, passed away at his home in Monticello, Florida on February 28, 2025. He was born April 20, 1952, in Miami, Florida, the eldest son of Ray J. Stiff and Jeanne G. Stiff.
He graduated from Miami Springs Sr. High School and was part of The Phoenix Singers.
Christopher was the Dock Master for The Four Ambassador Hotel in Downtown Miami. The bulk of his work career was working for Masters Marine Center as an A/C and refrigeration technician.
Christopher met his wife Judith Kregg in 1981. After retiring they moved to Monticello in 2013 to be closer to family. They enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Christopher was the President of the
Coconut Grove Orchid Society and they were both active members for many years.
Anyone that knew Christopher would certainly never forget him. Always there with his little sayings to try to be charming and get someone to laugh. He was always tinkering with something and found creative ways to repair them. He is the end of an era of the many Chris and Judi Christmas's we shared. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
In addition to his parents, Christopher was proceeded in death by his wife, Judith Kregg Stiff; brother, David Gregory Stiff; and brother-in-law, Douglas Orr. Christopher is survived by his sister, Yvonne Orr (Doug); brothers: Patrick B. Stiff (Anita), Kevin D. Stiff (Dawn), and Todd M. Stiff (Karen); and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his lifetime friend, Dee Deringer Piquette.
