Christopher Thomann Obituary
He was born in Utica, on May 17, 1938, a son of John and Gertrude Freezon Thomann. Christopher was educated at U.F.A. and later earned his GED. While growing up he learned the carpentry trade from his father and family and for all of his working life, he was employed as a carpenter in commercial building construction. Later he and his family established the Thomann construction company of Marcy and Christopher was involved in the construction of many schools, hospitals and large projects in central New York.
He was married to Cynthia Turner and later they were divorced. Afterwards, he married Patricia Burgess and later they were divorced.
Christopher is survived by two sons, Christopher Michael Thomann, Carson City, NV and Timothy A. (JoAnne) Thomann, Forestport; a daughter, Stacy Garrett, Watertown, NY; grandchildren, Evan and Ethan Thomann, Nolani and Jasmine Thomann, Mariah and Brittany Garrett and a brother, Richard Thomann, Marcy.
In keeping his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
