Christopher M. "Chris" Tomaszkiewicz

Christopher M. Tomaszkiewicz, age 43, known to many as "Batman," beloved son of Kaylynn (Alan) Wabich-Jindra and Frank (Laurie) Tomaszkiewicz. Loving brother of Sean, Kelly (Song) Lee, Patrick, Steven, the late Michael, and the late Jamie. Uncle of Matthew, Nathan, Faith, Grace, Hope, Kayla, Reagan, and Jackson. Nephew and cousin of many. Special friend of Sonya, and good friend to Arthur.
Chris ("Doc") devoted his life to helping others as a senior pharmacy tech, sincerely enjoying the chance to contribute to the well-being of others. He was heavily involved in volunteering in his community, especially at children's hospitals. He loved movies, especially ones with Jack Sparrow and Batman. Chris was adventurous, enjoying camping and fishing. His close companion, Monk, was constantly at his side, not only for long car rides but also the short walks in the park. Every year, Chris looked forward to Fantasy Football, and was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears. One of his greatest joys was to don his Batman suit to bring a smile to other people's faces.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., and the funeral service will be on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home, 435 N. York Street, Elmhurst, IL. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. For information, call 630-834-1133.
