Christopher Michael Wilson, 52, of LaGrange, Kentucky, formerly of Simpsonville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, in LaGrange, Kentucky.
Christopher Michael Wilson was a devoted husband, father, hard worker, and a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He grew up in Simpsonville, Kentucky, and graduated from Shelby County High School in 1990. In his early years, he enjoyed working with his dad and brother on Whistle Stop Farm. Chris spent over 20 years working with Louisville Paving, where he earned the respect of his colleagues through his dedication and strong work ethic. He loved spending time outdoors–whether it was hunting, farming, or cooking meals for those he cared about. His three beagles were constant companions and brought him great happiness. Above all, Chris cherished his family and memories made with them. He was the kind of person who showed up when it mattered most, always putting those he loved first. His warm heart, strong presence, and deep loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon and Peggy Palmer, and a sister, Ann Hughes.
Chris is survived by his wife of 24 years, Debbie Wilson of LaGrange, Kentucky; his children, Lindsay Wilson of Smithfield, Kentucky, Trett Mathews, of St. Matthews, Kentucky, Sydney Wilson of Richmond, Kentucky and Clayton Wilson of LaGrange, Kentucky; a grandson, Tatum; his siblings, Joe Palmer (Ann) and Jerri Taylor (Robert) both of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Stephanie Wilson of Lebanon, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Taylor officiating. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
