Christy Claborn Obituary

Christy was an excellent student and graduated from Franklin Central High School near the top of her class in 1997. She graduated from the Nursing School at the University of Indianapolis in 2001, also receiving her Master's Degree in Nursing in 2016.
She worked passionately as an emergency room nurse first at the Beech Grove Franciscan St. Francis Hospital then moving to the Franciscan St. Francis Hospital on the southside of Indianapolis. She transitioned from nursing to the Trauma Program Manager helping to develop and lead their innovative Stop The Bleed Program.
Survivors include her husband, David, whom she married on December 1st, 2003; her son Gabriel; her mother Maureen; her brother Stephen, and several nieces of nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father James Roberts.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Franklin Township Chapel located at 5950 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Orchard Hill Cemetery.
