Cindy Baskin (Kalen)

Naples, NY: A lady always knows when to leave a party. Cindy was bounced after losing a catfight with pancreatic cancer, but not before she was able to get a bitch slap and a few eye pokes in (nyuk, nyuk, nyuk).

Prior to her expulsion Cindy was known as an avid dollhouse miniature enthusiast with a deep love of Halloween. She was proud to captain her Polar Plunge team to a record five First Place finishes in the annual Costume Contest. She lived the life as surreally as possible and tried not to clean much.

Cindy leaves behind her beloved husband, Mike Baskin. She is also survived by her parents, Don & Ruth Kalen, brother Jeff Kalen, brother-in-law Brian Baskin (Kim Larsen), sister-in-law Karen Baskin (Kim Grennan), nephew Reese Baskin, and nieces Danielle & Heather Kalen.

Many thanks to Cindy's BFF Jacquie Folino Tartaglia for close to fifty years of amusement and support. The family also thanks the staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center and Strong Palliative care for their compassionate care.

Cindy wished to invite all her friends and family to put the 'fun' back in funeral, so a Celebration of Life will be held details later.

So sad to hear of her passing. Cindy was so much fun "at camp". We'll all remember those wonderful times.
Hugs to Jeff, and to Mr & Mrs. "K".
Condlences from the entire Peterson family.
