ANDERSON, IN – Cindy L. Hart, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.

She was born on March 22, 1960, in Anderson to Gail and Wanda (Bennett) McCune and has lived in Anderson most of her lifetime. Cindy attended Anderson schools. She had worked at Brockway Glass in Lapel and in food service at the former Grindstone Charley's in Anderson. Cindy loved working outdoors doing yard work and gardening. She was a serious heavy metal fan, especially of Korn and enjoyed going to concerts with friends. We will sadly miss her beautiful smile…

She was preceded in death by her father, Maternal Grandmother-Mildred Park, 2 Uncles-Roscoe Rousey and George Bennett

Services honoring Cindy's life and legacy will take place at 3 pm on Friday, August 1, 2025, in the Owens-Noffze Funeral Home, 1009 West Walnut Street, Summitville with Pastor Nathan Lutterman officiating. Interment will follow in Vinson Memorial Cemetery in Summitville. The Hart family will receive friends after 1 pm on Friday in the funeral home prior to the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
