Cindy Susanne Oates, 48, of Gore, VA, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Winchester Medical Center.
Cindy was born on September 29, 1976, in Hornell, NY, the daughter of the late Stanley W. DuBois, Sr. and Frances Alger DuBois. Cindy attended Hebron Baptist Church in Gore and was a member of the Eagles #824 in Winchester, VA. Cindy enjoyed crocheting, diamond painting, loom knitting, NASCAR especially Kyle Larson and the Buffalo Bills. Most of all Cindy enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Cindy married Kevin Oates June 13, 2004, in Gore, VA.
Surviving with her husband of 20 years is a brother: Thomas DuBois of Cohocton, NY; a sister: Debra Wright of Stephens City, VA; and several nieces, nephew, and greats.
She is preceded in death by two daughters: Angel & Star DuBois and two brothers: Stanley DuBois, Jr. and David DuBois.
The family will receive friends at the Gore Fire Hall on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Please dress in racing clothes.
