Cindy L. (Richardson) Smith, 62, of Parish New York passed away on June 16, 2025 at St Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York after a chronic illness.
Cindy was born in Syracuse New York on July 20, 1962, the daughter of the late Solomon and Marjorie Rayley Richardson. Cindy attended APW High School. For 47 years Cindy has been married to her husband, Jerry L Smith. They raised four children in Parish NY. Cindy worked for Burlington Coat Factory until her illness prevented her from working. Cindy loved nature. She spent most of her summers outdoors gardening. She loved to spend time at Huron Hill planting and tending flowers, and at Hall's Blueberry farm picking berries. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and she was always up for adventure.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry; sons Rommel (Jill), Scott (Ariane) and Kyle; one daughter Brande (Dan); grandsons Jacob, Tyler, Isaac, and Seth; granddaughter Josie; one sister and two brothers, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cindy was predeceased by her parents and two sisters.
The family will gather for a private celebration of life on Friday June 20, 2025. There will be no formal services.
