Clara Jenkins Culbertson

Clara Jenkins Culbertson, 95, former resident of Greenwood, widow of Howard Benjamin Culbertson, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at NHC-Greenville.
Born January 30, 1928, in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Willie Young Jenkins and Lois Cooper Jenkins. She was a 1945 graduate of Greenwood High School.
Mrs. Culbertson is a member of Lee Road United Methodist Church in Taylors.
Surviving are a daughter, Cathryn Culbertson Howard of Greer and a son, Rev. Ken Culbertson and wife Sandra of Seneca; a grandson, John Benson Howard and wife Chelsea of Greer; a great-grandson, Porter Lee Howard.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Culbertson was preceded in death by her sister, Irene J. Tolbert and her brother, Rev. Willie Young Jenkins, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday from the Blyth Funeral Home with her son, Rev. Ken Culbertson officiating.
Entombment will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 Thursday afternoon.
