Clara Saturday Obituary

Clara was born on October 14, 1937 in Ashtabula the daughter of Wiliam and Ruth (nee: Hood) Barnes. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School and was a faithful member of St. Peter Episcopal Church of Ashtabula. Clara worked at Sanborn Auto Parts for many years then JCPenney's before finally retiring.
Mrs. Saturday loved to bake cookies for her family and friends. She enjoyed many hours listening to her Country Western records and looked forward to family reunions at Lakeshore Park each summer.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Saturday; her parents William and Ruth Barnes; and her siblings, William "Bill" Barnes, Loretta Verdi and Daisy Cary.
A small private service will be held this summer.
She will be inurned with her husband at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio in a private service.
Funeral arrangements were trusted to Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave. Ashtabula. Online obituary and condolences can be made at www.ducro.com.
