Dennis Fields

PERRY - Dennis Wayne Fields, 65, of Perry Park Road, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Madison Health Care. He was born on November 8, 1959 in Ashtabula, Ohio. A graduate of Ashtabula High School, Dennis most recently worked with Teen Challenge in Perry as a residential counselor, where he made a difference in the lives of others every day. He was employed with ODOT in Orwell and also enjoyed working in construction alongside his close friend and pastor, John Salters. A member of Peoples Baptist Church in his younger years, Dennis later attended at G.O. Ministries. He enjoyed working on Cadillac cars, cooking, and his construction work. He is survived by his two sons, Dennis Fields, Jr. and Dylan Fields, both of Madison; two grandchildren; his sisters, Dora Dean Fields of California, Sandra Gayle (Walter) Miller and Roberta Fields, both of Ashtabula, Joanne (Robert) Scruggs of Geneva, and Deborah Hill of Ashtabula; his brothers, David Hill, Jr. of North Kingsville, Tom Hill of Tennessee, and Pastor Raymond (Sherry) Hill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Almeda Hill and Cynthia Hill; and his parents, David Hill and Alberta Fields. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Peoples Baptist Church, 3837 West Ave, Ashtabula, OH 44004. Rev. John Salters, Pastor of G.O. Ministries, will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 E. Center St. (SR 20), North Kingsville. Contributions may be made to the family.
