Fairview – Lorraine Audrey Hall, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Pleasant Ridge Manor. She was born on January 4, 1936, in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James and Hazel (Summers) Gunsallus. On May 25, 1957, Lorraine married the love of her life, John D. Hall, in Milesburg, Pennsylvania. Together, they celebrated 68 wonderful years of marriage. Lorraine was a dedicated employee of Haysite Reinforced Plastics, where she worked for 22 years. She especially loved the Christmas season-searching for the perfect blue spruce tree, often visiting many farms until she found just the right one. Decorating the tree was a labor of love, placing each icicle one by one until it shimmered like a waterfall. Lorraine also enjoyed trips to the casino, scratch-off tickets, and baking her famous pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. Her family will always remember her devotion, particularly the care and compassion she showed her daughter, Missy, as she bravely battled MS. Lorraine is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, John D. Hall; her children, Scott D. (Wendie) Hall, John R. (Phyllis) Hall, Timothy (Michele) Hall, Gregory Hall, and Melissa Hall; sisters, Carol Moore and Karen Stubenhofer; grandchildren, Scott (Nicole) Hall, Stephanie (Derrick) Murphy, Max Petri, Lana Gutowski, Amber Mikielski, Willy Hall, Ariel Ogletree, John Hall, Lauren Hall, Emily Hall, Kaitlyn Hall, and the nine children of Timothy Hall; 43 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Paul Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Laurie Hall; siblings, Vernon Holderman, Marvin Gunsallus, Frank Summers, and Dallas Summers; and her granddaughter, Lindsay Hall. In accordance with Lorraine's wishes, private family services were held. Online guestbook and condolences may be shared at www.ducro.com. Ducro Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio, is assisting the family.
