Clara Wiedemann Obituary

She was very involved with her community and led many roles during her life. She was leader of Brownies & Girl Scout Troop #100 Atlantic Highlands, a lunch aid at Atlantic Highlands Elementary, and worked at Food Town Atlantic Highlands as a cashier, a member of the Rosary Society at St. Agnes, St. Agnes Eucharist- giving out communion, and a member of the St. Agnes Knitters before retiring.
She will be remembered by many as the "Card lady" - for sending out birthday cards to everyone. She could always be seen walking around the Atlantic Highlands Harbor and visiting with everyone she knew. Many years she helped with the HOBO Fishing club that her husband belonged to.
Surviving are her daughter, Marylu Suriano; grandchild, Francis A Suriano II; niece, Donna Tuccillo; nephew, Gary (Patty) Molino; grandniece, Danielle (Gino) Aguilar; three great-grandnephews, Erik Stallato, Gio Aguilar, and Mateo Aguilar; grandnephew, Scott (Lourdis) Tuccillo; great-grandniece, Bryanna Tuccillo Carvajal; and great-grandnephew Jaylen Tuccillo; grandnephew, Nick Molino.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frederick Wiedemann Jr.; parents, Nicholas and Mary Molino; brother, Anthony Molino; and sister-in-law, Ernestine Molino.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, 9:00 am - 11:00 am at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral Prayers will be offered Friday, August 8, 2025 at 10:30 am at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Burial will follow at Bay View Cemetery, Hosford Ave, Leonardo.
