Clarence Alvin Todd, Jr, known affectionately as "Owl," passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 70 in Blountstown, Florida. Born on May 24, 1954, in Quincy, Florida, Clarence was a proud graduate of Liberty County High School. Throughout his life, Clarence worked driving a bread truck, remembered as the bread man, and then dedicated many years to the logging industry. This career reflected his love for the outdoors. That passion for nature also extended into his personal life where he found solace and joy in fishing at John Redd and hunting in Johnson's Swamp. Clarence did not meet a stranger and enjoyed people watching from his lawn mower. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Alvin and Virginia Lee Todd; sister, Betty Jane McDaniel; and nephew, BJ Gaston. Clarence is survived by his son, Tyler Todd and wife Megan of Altha; daughters, Jessica Todd of Blountstown, Stephanie Bulmer of Tallahassee, Melissa and husband David Anderson of Lake City; sister, Gloria Gaston and husband Bruce of Quincy; grandchildren, Kage and Lola Spears, Adisyn and Tucker Todd, Ian Anderson, Chase and Trystan Bulmer; and beloved great nephew/son, Brayln Clenney. A service to honor and celebrate Clarence's life will be held on August 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm (CT) at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. Peavy Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time.
