Clarice Adassa Smith, known to some as Pansy, 74, died at 9:37am, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at The Treasure Coast Hospice in Ft. Pierce, FL. She was born September 26, 1948 in Kingston, Jamaica to Sylvia Francis-Haynes and Arthur Haynes(both deceased). She was married to her first husband Neville Smith(deceased) of Hamilton, Bermuda and then 2nd Husband Granville Williams(deceased) of Kingston, Jamaica.
Surviving Mrs. Smith are her children, Steve Williams(Julia) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sandra Williams-Lambert(Phillip) of Ft. Pierce, FL, Clarice Smith-Anderson(Gregory) of Port St. Lucie, FL and Nevillet Smith of Stuart, FL as well as her step children Kerstien "Natasha" Williams-White(Barrington)of Port St. Lucie, FL and Granville "Mario" Williams of Jamaica.
Her grandchildren(30): Chi-Anne Crockwell, Desarae Lambert, Destiny Lambert, Tiena Lambert, Tahmeaka Thomas, Phillip Thomas, Steve Williams, Stephanie Williams, Jessica Walliams, Kevin Ross, Chantel Ross, Briana Battle, Jayson Durity, Amelia Anderson, Gregoryann Anderson, Akia Crutchfield, Richard Williams(Mitchell's son), Daekwon McKray, Jesse Grinds, Kiko Grinds, Kai Grinds, Athena Durham, Markayla White, Barrington White, Italiah White, Nataliah White, Maliah White, Richard Williams(Mario's son), Andre Williams & Trinity Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sylvia Francis-Haynes and Arthur Haynes; her children Mitchell Williams and Elizabeth Williams; her grandchildren Shaki "Shaq" Crockwell, Desmond "Leroy" Constable; her 1st Husband Neville Smith and 2nd husband Granville Williams.
Pansy attended Providence Elementary and Papine Secondary. She worked at Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Stuart, Fl and was a member of The Worship Center Int'l Ministries.
She loved reading her Bible, singing and praising the Lord, writing, doing crosswords, drawing clothing designs, watching TBN channel and cowboy shows, and spending time with her family especially watching her grandchildren grow up. She was always willing to help anyone that came to her. She was kind in nature, huggable, had a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh, and she was also humble in spirit and a strong woman of faith.
She was content and enjoyed life the way she chose; with that came wisdom, and She always loved to hold deep conversations with anyone willing to listen. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Fort Pierce. Another viewing will be held before service at 10am and service will begin at 10:30am on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Port St. Lucie Worship Center, 6501 NW St James Dr, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery. A repass will follow at Haisley Reception Center.
