On May 6, 1955, the Lord blessed Floyd II and Gertrude Watson Wooten with a baby boy, Clifford Lee Wooten. Clifford was born at Lake County (East) Hospital in Painesville, Ohio. Clifford was the youngest of five children (Curtis, Louise, Floyd III, and Johnny). Clifford "Cliff" Lee Wooten departed this life on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Cliff graduated from Thomas W. Harvey High School in 1973. He played in the marching band during that time, and he loved music. After graduation he attended classes at Lakeland Community College. Cliff retired from Sears Auto Department after working over 40 years. Cliff accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Painesville. Later Cliff rededicated his life and became a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Painesville. Clifford loved reading and writing stories. He was very knowledgeable of The Word of God, and his favorite scripture was Psalms 23 along with many others. Cliff was a GREAT cartoon artist. He also loved cooking all types of dishes and got most of his recipes from the cooking channel.
