Jr. was a member of First Baptist Church Winnsboro, LA and was a well-known guitar player in our area, he was the guitar man at the Council on Aging Center, a big supporter of St. Jude and he also loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Lola Marie Richmond Gill, brothers, James "Buddy" Gill, Tommy Ray Gill, Terry Keith Gill, Bobby Glynn Gill; sister, Emma Wood, nephews David Gill and John Aaron Gill, and a great granddaughter Cautious Brown.
Jr. is survived by two sons, Robert Kevin Gill of West Monroe, LA and Samuel Keith Gill of McKinney, TX, two daughters Wendy Rose Gill of Allen, TX, and Frances Dawn Bates of Fort Worth, TX; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; brothers J. D. Gill of Greenwood, LA, and Luther Gill of Bradley, AR; a sister, Shirley Kinler of Luling, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Bates, Jay Gill, Sonny Gill, Terry Keith Gill, Tommy Gill, and Garrett Holcomb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Glynn Gill, James Gill, Keith Gill, and Kevin Gill.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to family friend Wanda Clifton for her love, support, and care that she gave to Junior.
