Clive McFarlane

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Clive "Scrappy" McFarlane, who left us on April 28, 2024, at the age of 40. Scrappy was born on October 3, 1983, in Boston, Massachusetts to Jamaican born parents, Marlene Parkinson and Clive McFarlane.
Although his time with us was short, Scrappy's memory will forever be cherished by his loved ones, friends, and community. He will be remembered as a charismatic individual with a zest for life.
Scrappy's up bringing in Dorchester, MA. played an integral role in shaping his character. He attended Brockton High School, where he excelled academically. Anyone who crossed paths with Scrappy was captivated by his intelligence and quick wit. He possessed unwavering loyalty, always willing to protect those who held a place in his heart.
In his leisure time, Scrappy enjoyed playing Black Jack, indulging in music, and embarking on exhilarating road trips. His youthful spirit and adventurous nature were evident in all he pursued. However, his most cherished role was that of a devoted father to his four beloved children. Scrappy's incredible love and commitment to his children were his greatest joys in life.
The void left by Scrappy's absence will be felt deeply by his family and friends. He is survived by his adoring children Claudelle, Mekhiyah, Hazel and Egypt McFarlane. His mother Marlene and Father Clive. His siblings Andrew, Alisha, Michael Nelson;
Antoneisha, Cory, Chyann, Chyna & Chemar McFarlane, and two nieces and two nephews. He also leaves behind to mourn the mother of his children Felecia Freeman, Best friends/Brothers Charles
Matthews, John Matthews, Daniel Bullard and Kenneth Burke.
Clives life may have ended too soon, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He wasnt perfect and none of us are. He was very Loyal and thats something you dont find too often in this day and age. May his soul rest in eternal peace. May he remain in the hearts of those that loved him.
Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE on Saturday, May 11th from 3:30-4:30pm. Funeral Service at 4:30pm. Interment private.
