Clyde Ralph Blankenship, born on May 3, 1947, was the beloved son of the late Earl and Ollie Waddell Blankenship. He was united in marriage first to Juiwana Slusher, who preceded him in death, and later to Sandra Fultz Blankenship, who survives him. Clyde was a devoted father to five children: Cecil Blankenship, Roger Hammock (Sandy), Connie Creech (Larry), Vickie Roark, and Eugene Blankenship, all residing in London. He is also survived by his sister Wilma Gilbert (Sterling) of Glasgow, and two brothers, Charles Blankenship (Vickie) of London and Jimmy Blankenship (Marie) of Georgetown. His legacy includes ten grandchildren,John, Amy, Jessica, Danny, Justin, Alisa, Joshua, Natasha, Tiffany and Mathew and twenty great-grandchildren,Jacob, Julie, Kaden, Jace, Mae, Mallory, Hailey, Kinslee, Hunter, Luke, Jayla, Ryley, Jordan, Olivia, Damien, Wyatt, Bailey, Coraline, Dakota and Jonah, along with numerous other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

Clyde was a former maintenance manager at the American Greeting Card Company and a dedicated farmer. He found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling, and he loved to be on the road. A faithful member of the Circle of Faith Holiness Church, Clyde served the Lord diligently and rarely missed a church service.

Clyde departed this life on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 78. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday August 22, 2025 at Bowling Funeral Home with Sammy Trosper and Michael Sparkman officiating. Burial will be in the Mcdaniel Cemetery in London.

The Family of Clyde Blankenship will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home begining at 6:00 pm Thursday.

Serving as pallbearers: John Hall, Danny Hall, Justin Hall, Joshua Hall, Matthew Blankenship and Jacob Hall
