Clyde David "Dave" Krevitz

Clyde David "Dave" Krevitz, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully
with family by his side Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born to David and Geraldine Krevitz on July 23,
1940 in Liberty Township, Kansas. After graduating from Northeast High School, Dave proudly served in
the United States Marine Corps before beginning his 43-year accounting career at Kansas City Southern
Railroad. After leaving the Marines, he was set up on a blind date with a beautiful young lady named
Dottie. Little did he know, they would quickly fall in love and spend the next 59 years creating memories
together. Later in life they enjoyed traveling, especially to Harlingen, Texas. Dave also loved to fish and
entered many bass tournaments throughout his life. Soon after he retired, his interests turned to classic
cars and he and his boys enjoyed restoring a 1941 Chevy Coupe, which he entered in Shriners parades
and car shows. He loved his family fiercely and was active with each of their lives and the community.
He was involved with Boy Scouts when his sons were young, was a member of Mic-O-Say, was past
master and secretary of the Freemasons McDonald Lodge #324, past president and treasurer of
Salisbury Hills Homeowners Association, past president of the antique auto club of the Ararat Shrine,
and a member of Eastern Star. Dave had a great sense of humor and loved to tell stories. He will be
missed beyond measure by all his friends and family. Dave is survived by his beloved wife Dottie; sons
Barry Krevitz (Amy) and Brian Krevitz (Sara); grandchildren Justin Krevitz and Elizabeth Stark; sister
Nayda Farkas, brother Rick Krevitz (Linda); and numerous nieces and nephews.
