A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 am at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA for Cohen John Champagne, who passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Women's and Children's Hospital in Lafayette, LA.

Visitation will be observed at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of service.

Pastor Myron Guillory, of Our Savior's Church in Lafayette, will officiate.

Inurnment will follow in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette, LA.

From his first little flutter of joy, Cohen John Champagne touched our lives. His announcement of life brought excitement to all of our family and friends. The angels carried him home to heaven on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with our hearts filled with sadness. Cohen's spirit will forever fill our hearts with memories treasured and the dreams we embraced for his future. Cohen's love remains eternally in our hearts always.

Cohen is survived by his parents, Beau and Haley Champagne, of Erath, LA; his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Kay Champagne, of Erath, LA, and his maternal grandmother, Kathryn Landry, of Rayne, LA, as well as his Nanny, Jade Espeut and his Parrain, Tucker Denais and dear aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Patrick Landry, Sr., and his uncle, John "J.C." Gibbons.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Women's and Children's Hospital, especially Dr. Mario Cardinale, and Dr. Francis J. Cardinale for the compassionate care given to Cohen and his family.
