Col. Thomas Warren Miller, USAF (Ret.) entered into rest on the morning of Monday, May 26, 2025.
Born on March 13th, 1946, in Youngstown, OH, Tom was the only child of the late George and Ellen Gray Miller. He spent his formative years in Whitefish Bay, WI, where he was active in sports, playing both football and basketball. He continued his education at DePauw University in Indiana, where he played collegiate football, was a member of the Alpha Delta Omega fraternity, and participated in the Air Force ROTC, which laid the foundation for his distinguished military career.
Tom married the love of his life, Robyn, on March 21st, 1970, in Phoenix, AZ. Together, they built a life of adventure and commitment, raising their family across continents and military bases.
Upon completing pilot training at Williams AFB, Tom began what would become a 30-year career in the United States Air Force. He served as both a C-130 and KC-10 pilot, holding a variety of command and leadership roles around the world. He was stationed at Langley AFB, Yokota AB, where he was a Field Maintenance Commander, Little Rock AFB, where he served as a C-130 examiner pilot, Travis AFB, and Scott AFB, before ultimately retiring at the rank of Colonel on April 1st, 1999. His final assignment brought him and his family to Warner Robins, GA, in 1994, where he served as a Deputy Director of the Air Force Reserve at Robins AFB.
Following his military retirement, Tom flew for Delta Regional for six years until age 60. His service to his country and his love of flying will be remembered for several generations to come. Tom enjoyed his free time golfing, water skiing, and staying active outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Robyn Miller of Warner Robins; children, Aaron Miller (Kathy) and Kurtis Miller (Andrea); and grandchildren, Grayson Miller and Asher Miller.
