ROY Colleen Annie Hart Roylance passed away September 25, 2025. She was born in Huntsville, Utah on April 13, 1937, to William J and Marie Eleanor Brooks, the third of seven children.
Colleen married the love of her life Sterling Harold Roylance on July 8, 1955. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. They loved to dance and enjoyed many years of happiness together, fishing, camping, and traveling.
After Harold passed away Colleen enjoyed the companionship of a wonderful friend Dennis Faulkner.
In her younger years, she enjoyed riding horses and was a member of the Boots and Saddles horse club. Colleen was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a talented quilter, and many have benefited from her beautiful quilts. She loved spending time with her family and especially adored her grandchildren.
She graduated from Weber High School in 1955.
After many years of faithful service, Colleen retired from Ogden IRS in 1992.
Colleen is survived by her daughters, Becky (Doug) Wolfe, Judy (Casey) Allred, and Annette (Russell) Murray; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; daughter, Loree; a great-grandson, Jones; her parents; and all of her siblings.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Lodge at North Ogden, A-Plus Home Health Care and Amy Fowers from Home Medical Services for the loving and kind care they provided.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
