Colleen Marie Williams

Colleen Marie Briggs (Williams) a 44 year old woman passed away on April 11, 2024, in Scottsdale Arizona. With loving family and friends at her side.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 10,1979, daughter to Lawrence and Brenda Briggs.
Colleen attended Dundee Crown High School in Carpentersville, Illinois. She graduated in 1997 and enjoyed her time there in drama club along with many other activities. After moving to Arizona with her family she attended Paradise Community College and enjoyed her time there assisting her Spanish teacher and became her close friend and assistant.
Colleen's career was with USAA, as an insurance agent. Where she was chosen for a president award and introduced the CEO at an employee meeting in front of 30,000 employees. She was dedicated to serving the military community and an advocate for them.
Colleen felt very strongly about plus size women being able to be comfortable in their own skin. The plus size community gave her a place to belong. She loved her many friends.
Colleen is survived by her mother Brenda, brother Lawrence, sister in law Camilla, nephews Lawrence, Steele, and soon to be Sterling Colin, niece Teddi, along with her partner Emily and so many family members and friends. She loved to be Aunty Coco to so many.
Colleen was pre-decesed by her father Lawrence Paul Briggs.
Celebration of Life Service is to be held on April 20, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Reception to follow immediately after the service.
