Connie Grubbs Davlin

Connie Davlin, age 77, of Cass, Texas, walked into the arms of Jesus, Friday, August 16, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born December 12, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to T.A. Grubbs and Juanita Wilson. Connie was a member of Cass Baptist Church and was a retired dispatcher for the Atlanta Police Department. Her family brought her great joy and as much as she loved them, she loved Jesus more. She never failed to say, "I love you and Jesus loves you".
Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Davlin; and her parents.
She is survived by three daughters, Anita Burchett and husband Doug of Cass, Texas, Michelle Spivey of Cass, Texas; Johna Spivey and Paul Moorehead of Queen City, Texas; her beloved dog, Bill the chihuahua; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a number of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Cass Baptist Church with Bro. Gary O'Day and Bro. Jason York officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, August 19, 2024 at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Cass Cemetery.
