Connor J. Pickering

Connor James Pickreign, age 16, of Malone, NY, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2024, with his loving family by his side at Albany Medical Center. His funeral services will be held on April 4, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the Malone Wesleyan Church with Pastor Kevin Young officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Morningside Cemetery, Malone. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the same day at the Malone Wesleyan Church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Malone.
Connor was born on June 4, 2007, in Malone, NY, to John J. Pickreign and Lisa Crippen Pickreign. He was a vibrant 10th-grade student at Franklin Academy, known for his zest for life and adventurous spirit. Connor found joy in playing video games, drawing, coffee dates, camping, mountain biking, photography, and hiking. He was always up for an adventure and had a knack for pranks, bringing laughter wherever he went. Connor also enjoyed working out, fishing with friends, and spending time working out on his bikes with his cherished companions, fondly referred to as "The Boys."
Connor is survived by his parents, John J. Pickreign and his wife, Tasha, of Malone, NY, and Lisa (Crippen) Pickreign and her significant other, Kory Cook, of Malone, NY; his siblings, Collin Pickreign and Isabella Pickreign of Malone, NY; his paternal grandparents, Mary and John Johnston of Brushton, NY; maternal grandparents, Tim and Debbie Crippen of Malone, NY; and Donna and George Putraw of Malone, NY; aunts and uncles, Amanda Pickreign and her companion, Johnny Rivera, of Brushton, NY, Josh Crippen and his companion, Chelsey, of Malone, NY, Denise Clanton and her husband, Ron, of Churubusco, NY, Justin Putraw of Malone, NY, and Michael Putraw and his wife, Jacqueline, of Queensbury, NY; and several cousins.
