Constance Fry Obituary

Constance "Connie" L. Fry, 84, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at UW Health Swedish American Hospital after a brave battle with cancer. Born September 17, 1939, in Rockford, the daughter of Guy and Mabel (Stromquist) Swenson. Graduate of East High School, Class of 1957. Connie married Jerry A. Fry on June 4, 1960 at Bethesda Covenant Church Rockford. She was a member of First Covenant Church. Connie loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and hosting gatherings. Connie was an antique dealer for 30 years.
Survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Curt Fry, Cathy (Mark) Frondal, and Cheri (Vic) McConnell; grandchildren, Logan, Connor, Mitchell, Kristin (Joel), Jake, Nick (Molly), and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Archer, Lincoln and Everett; sister-in-law, Grace Swenson; brother-in-law, Tom Fry; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Marshall Swenson; and sister-in-law, Barbara Fry.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at First Covenant Church, 316 Wood Rd., Rockford with Pastor Peter Dibley officiating. Private burial in Arlington Memorial Park.
