Constance "Connie" Zingaro, 90, of Shenango Township passed away the evening of April 14, 2024 at her residence.
Connie was born in New Castle on April 1, 1934. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Fazzone Rossilillo and her step-father, Louis Rossilillo.
On July 11, 1953 Connie married her beloved husband, Samuel G. Zingaro. Sam preceded her in death on November 7, 2019.
In the early years Connie had worked for Fishers Dry Goods. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Connie was a wonderful cook. She was known and will be remembered for her great Italian dishes. Connie also enjoyed being a Grandma and helping to raise her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Connie is survived by her children, Joella Kustra (Walter), Gabriella Budai (Jan), Christina Neff (Robert), Samuel G. Zingaro, four grandchildren, Kylie Carr (Shawn), Wally Kustra (Lisa), Victor Kustra and Alex Evanoski (Autumn) and three great-grandchildren, Jack, Kinsley and Cade.
In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Rossilillo.
Visitation will be on Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate.
Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
