Corene Graham Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Gallagher Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Services will begin at noon with Reverend Robert Tarver officiating. Interment will follow in Tyler Cemetery in Centerpoint.
A staunch Christian woman she read her Bible regularly and practiced its teachings daily. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were blessed to have Nanny as their prayer warrior.
Known for her biscuits, chicken and dumplings, and lemon pies, she loved having her family at the house to share a meal. She enjoyed her three o'clock cup of coffee, quilting, playing dominoes and cards, Majong on her iPad, and working crossword puzzles and word searches.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandi Tarver, Patsy Shaw (Lacy), Cynthia Graham, and Sarah Flores (Greg); son-in-law, Robert Tarver; her brother, Wymond O'Neal (Alice); nine grandchildren, Rob Tarver (Shirrea), Jarred Tarver (Maggie), Michelle Jennings (Nathan), Justin Hathorn (Ali) Holly Malone (Brandon), Mandi Walters (Daniel), Trey Tarver, NoNo Little Flores (Stirling), and Hudson Flores; thirteen great-grandchildren, Ava Tarver, Tye Tarver, Meg Tarver, Mia Tarver, Greer Tarver, Griffin Tarver, Bryan Jennings (Gracy), Connor Jennings, Mason Jennings, Emma Jennings, Ansley Hathorn, Knox Hathorn, and Harper Malone; and two sisters-in-law, Lucy Stott and Ruthie Box.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Mose and Mary Emeline Cole O'Neal; her husband, Dudley Bryant Graham; her eldest daughter, Brenda Tarver; and two sisters, Irene Bryant (Doug) and Jeri Reames (Lindberg).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations to be used for the Tyler Cemetery.
