CENTERVILLE, Ind. - Corrine Elizabeth Pentecost, age 90, of Centerville, Indiana, died Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Friends Fellowship Community.Born December 18, 1934, in Brookville, Indiana, to Joseph H. and Anna E. Tebbe Dickman, Corrine was a life-long resident of this area. She was a graduate of Webster High School. Corrine worked on the farm and raised her three children. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing food for family and friends. Her beef and noodles and pie were special favorites with everyone.Survivors include her children, Diane (John Monford) Cheatham, Cindy (Von) Fuller, and Jeff (Jill) Pentecost; grandchildren, Laura Pentecost, Nathan Pentecost, and Bailee (Justin) Lavery; great-grandchildren, Dylan Lavery and Kyla Lavery; siblings, Cliff (Martha Jane) Dickman and Susie Sandala; nieces; nephews; and many friends.She was preceded in death by her longtime fianc, Don Smith, 29 days ago, on December 10, 2024; parents; siblings, Floyd, Jerome, Dolores, Kathleen, Bernadine, and Joann.Graveside service for Corrine Elizabeth Pentecost will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025, in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.Memorial contributions may be made to: Dollars for Scholars, c/o Centerville High School, 507 Willow Grove Road, Centerville, IN 47330 or Friends Fellowship Community Endowment Fund, 2030 Chester Blvd., Richmond, IN 47374.Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
