Cosmo "Danny" Tamasi passed away at his home on February 11, 2025 and was joined by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" three days later on Valentine's Day, leaving a remarkable legacy of love, devotion, and family. Born just one month apart 91 years ago in 1933, their lives were intertwined not only by their 70-year marriage but by the deep connections they fostered with their family. Danny and Betty were predeceased by their son, who died at birth, and are survived by Betty's sister, Doris Carneglia; two children and their spouses, Daniel (Carol), Elizabeth McCue (Thomas, deceased); their grandchildren and their partners, Michelle (Shell), John (Jason), Kristina, and Colleen (Anthony); nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Their commitment to one another is a testament to the enduring power of love.
Betty's career as a cook in the Princeton Regional Schools cafeteria was a reflection of her nurturing nature, always caring for others, and her love of spending time with her family. Danny's long career with the US Postal Service and his additional work with Princeton Radiology and the Princeton Medical Group showed his dedication to service and hard work. His involvement with Princeton Italian-American Sportsmen's Club further highlighted his commitment to his community.
Together, they built a family filled with love and lasting memories. Their legacy will live on through their loved ones and the stories of their remarkable lives.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Saint Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 555 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton Township, NJ 08620 on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated directly following at 12:00 p.m.
Entombment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville, NJ.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
