Craig Addison Carman, 76, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025. Born on October 25, 1948, in Toronto, Craig was the cherished son of the late Bill Carman and Marion Carman.
Craig dedicated his life to the values he held dear: a strong work ethic, unwavering loyalty, and immense love for his family. He shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Kay Carman. Together, they built a family filled with love and warmth, raising three children: Heather Pepe, Stephanie Morris, and Craig Carman Jr. His family expanded with the addition of sons-in-law, and a daughter-in-law, and Craig was a proud grandfather to eight adoring grandchildren, all of whom he held close to his heart.Craig had a passion for spending time with his family, creating countless cherished memories. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed life's simpler pleasures, particularly his love for sweets, of any kind. Craig was a man of habit, often found occupying his favorite spot on the corner of a track, supporting and encouraging those athletes that wanted and need it.A bond of brotherhood with Bob Carman, his only brother, was rekindled over the past decade, further enriching his life. Though he did not hold an official role in community organizations, Craig's true legacy lies in the inspiration he gave to those who knew him; he had an exceptional ability to believe in people, offering them the greatest gift of all.A celebration of Craig's life will be held on June 8th, from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m., at Baci's, a location that held special significance as Kay and Craig's favorite date spot. In place of flowers, attendees are encouraged to share memories and stories of how Craig touched their lives.
Craig leaves behind a profound legacy-he gave those around him the greatest gift anyone could ever give another person; he believed in them. His quiet confidence uplifted those he loved and will continue to encourage them through life's journey.
