Craig Ellis, 59, of Bald Knob, died Wednesday, September 21, following a battle with kidney failure. He was born November 12, 1951 in Griffithville to the late Claude and Bessie Lockhart Ellis. Though, he battled illness, Craig always embraced life and cherished his family deeply. He loved to laugh, play his guitar, and fish. He will be greatly missed. He leaves a son, Michael Craig Ellis of Bald Knob; daughters, Tracy Martin of Griffithville, Laurie Davis of Searcy, and Sarah Ellis of Jonesboro; brother, Michael Ellis of CA; sisters, Diane Johnson of Bald Knob, and Tracy Koch of MO; grandchildren, Chris Stacks, Priscilla Leasure, Justin Martin, Kylie Ellis, and Aaron Swain; one niece, Cheryl Cherry, and a host of friends. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 23rd from 12-2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ellis Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
