Craig was born on May 13, 1962 in Winfield, KS, son of the late Harold and Donna (Courtney) Harrington. Craig graduated from Mulvane High School in Mulvane, Kansas. He worked for the Mulvane School System for many years as a custodian before moving to Purdy, Missouri.
Craig Harrington married Juanita Mobley and she preceded him in death on May 29, 2017.
Survivors include his sister, Cynthia Hively and husband Dale of Belle Plaine, KS; sister-in-law, Kathy Harrington- Bauer of Florida; one niece, Nicole (James) Alumbaugh of Mulvane, KS, two nephews; Ryan (Anna) Hively of Missouri and Zachary Harrington of Florida. Along with numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins, and his best dog pal Shadow.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita; and one brother, Charles Harrington.
Craig's life was marked by his stories he loved to share, dedication to his work, and the love he had for his AA group and family.
There are no services planned, inurnment service will take place at the Mulvane Cemetery in Mulvane, KS at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.

I worked with Craig at Mulvane USD 263 as both a teacher and an assistant principal/athletic director. He was a gem to know and I could always count on him to do the job at hand. With our every day chats, I always admired how he shared his truth and his viewpoints on the daily life of a custodian. He was a true survivor and he always reminded me to be grateful for each day.
My condolences to all of his family who loved him and will miss him. May your memories bring you comfort and joy.

I am so sorry to hear of Craig´s passing. He was one of our school custodians who always has a smile on his face and a story to share. My condolences at this time for his family.
