Craig graduated from Danbury High School with the class of 1975 as a lettered athlete. He continued his interest in sports and was a devoted fan of all of Ohios great teams: The Ohio State University (all teams), Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns, and the Cleveland Guardians (Indians.)
Craig was truly a "free spirit." He did not favor detailed planning; rather he allowed for spontaneity. His friends and neighbors have decades of memories of pop-up celebrations. While Craig loved the summers in Northwest Ohio, he despised the winters. This led to an annual pilgrimage to Southeast Asia. He vacationed in Bannock, Thailand for three months this past year.
Surviving are his sister: Susan Wiseman of Perrysburg, OH; niece and nephews: Mark (Darlene) Wiseman of Centerville, OH, Kelley Foster of Grand Haven, MI, Eric (Sunday) Wiseman of Rossford, OH, James A. Mazur, Jr of Lakeside-Marblehead, Richard J. Mazur of Fremont, Kenneth R. (Theresa) Mazur of Port Clinton and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Robert S. Mazur, James A. Mazur, Sr and sister Barbara Parker.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 4:00 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where a Panikhida Prayer Service will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Graveside services for family and friends will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Sackett Cemetery, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. The family suggests memorial donations may be given to Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, 114 E. Main St. Marblehead, OH 43440.
