I remember the summer that Craig & Darren came to Backus. Coach told us he had a big surprise for the first day of 2 a day practices. Actually it was 2 big surprises ! When we got to the school there was these 2 huge dudes waiting on the sidewalk. We were really needing some guys of that stature on the team. I never really understood much of what Darren was saying, but he was a great guy. Craig was always a nice guy to talk to and joke around with. They were both always laughing a lot. They will both be missed.
