Craig Martin Stephens, a beacon of kindness and compassion, passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on February 22, 1946, in Ecorse, Michigan, Craig's journey was one marked by love, service, and a warm-hearted nature that touched all who knew him. His final days were spent in Eau Claire, Michigan, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes he had come to love.
Craig's life was one of dedication and care. After earning his Associate's Degree in Nursing, he embarked on a fulfilling career that saw him working as a nurse in various nursing homes and for the state of Michigan. His gentle demeanor and unwavering commitment to his patients made him a beloved figure in the healthcare community, where he not only provided medical care but also offered a listening ear and a comforting presence to those in need.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Craig will remember him as a loving, kind, and friendly individual. His ability to brighten a room with his smile and his eagerness to lend a helping hand were hallmarks of his personality. Craig's legacy of love continues through his family, who were the center of his world. He is survived by his fiancée, Mary Jean Griffin, and his son, Craig Stephens Jr., both of whom he adored beyond measure.
As we bid farewell to Craig Martin Stephens, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and joy. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the power of kindness and the importance of cherishing every moment with those we love. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire. A visitation will be held at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire Michigan on Friday November 8 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
