It is with great sadness that the family of
Cynthia Sue Dietz
announces her passing.
Cynthia Sue Dietz, age 63, of Austin, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 19, 2025. Cynthia was born on March 1, 1962, in Seguin, Texas to Jeanette Dolle Dietz and Freddie Lee Koepp.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband Doug Osborne; brother, Duane Dietz and husband Adrian; niece KK; nephew, Adric and aunt, Marlene "Auntie M".
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and uncle, Col. Joe Fordham.
She attended school at Seguin High School class of 1980. She furthered her education at Texas Lutheran College and received her degree in Education. Cindy was above all else an educator. She realized this at an early age that her mission in life was to set young children on their path to knowledge. Her education passion was teaching Kindergarten. She said it so beautifully, "I teach because I love to see the wonderment in their eyes when they learn something new" and she never ever wavered from her mission. Cynthia dedicated her life to teaching for 30 years. After her retirement she still worked in education in the work-room for many years.
When you saw Cynthia, you would always see her with her favorite color on Purple. She took her favorite color passionately with everything she wore. Cynthia loved the beautiful tranquility of the ocean and the dolphins. Her favorite place to visit was Port Aransas to enjoy the sites of the ocean.
Cynthia, with her passionate heart, her friendly and loving personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
