Cynthia Leigh Mitchell,65, of Rialto, CA, formerly of Providence, KY passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Rialto Post Acute Care Center.
She was born on February 25, 1961, in Madisonville, KY, the daughter of the late Mr. Louis Gene Mitchell and Mrs. Barbara Faye Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Louise Mitchell.
She was a member of Providence First Baptist Church; Cindy was a 1979 graduate of Providence High School where she excelled in several sports. She played softball basketball and qualified for the state tournament and was in the top ten in shot put and discus, she also loved playing the drums.
She is survived by her sisters, Genie (Keith) McDowell of Providence, KY; Dianna (James) Skelton of Gordonsville, TN; one brother, Wayne Mitchelll of Indiana.
Burial will be held privately in White Oak Cemetery in Clay, KY
