Cynthia "Cindy" E. Morgan, 80, of Garrettsville, OH, peacefully passed with her family by her side on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was born May 14, 1944, in Akron, OH, to the late Sheridan and Margaret (nee Stone) Morgan.
She was raised in Twinsburg, OH, and was a graduate of Chamberlain High School, belonging to the class of 1962. Cindy was a dedicated employee at Hudson City Schools as a bus driver, until her retirement in 2010. She also enjoyed working as a kitchen manager at Sheridan's Brass Horn in Twinsburg, which was her father's long-standing family business. Cindy enjoyed traveling to the Pacific Northwest and visiting her sisters. She was a season ticket holder to the Akron Racers, a women's softball team that moved to Cleveland, becoming the Cleveland Comets. Cindy's pride and joy were her son, Aaron, and grandchildren, Garrett and Angelica; she showed them the utmost love and dedication throughout her life.
Cindy will forever be missed by her son, Aaron (Katie) Morgan; grandchildren, Garrett Morgan and Anjelica Morgan; sisters, Marnie, Linda, and Beverly, as well as many other extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Edward "Eddie" Morgan and Donald "Donnie" Morgan.
Please join the family for a memorial visitation Saturday, June 21, 2025, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. David Gray officiating.
