Cynthia Jo "Cindy" Petrasko

Cynthia Jo Petrasko, age 68, left us all to be with our Lord Saturday, July 8, 2023. She lost a very courageous battle with Cancer. Cindy was born August 12, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI to Raymond and Eva Morgan. She met the love of her life, George Petrasko in 1973, they married and built an amazing life together, and had 3 children. They were the light of their lives and will continue to carry her torch.
Cindy's life was nothing short of an adventure, and she was always the life of the party! No matter where she went, someone knew her, and she could strike up a conversation with anyone. Cindy always had an "open door policy," welcoming anyone with open arms who might need a place to stay, a shoulder to cry on, or just an ear to listen. No matter who you were or where you came from- you were considered family. She was a special girl- as our Grandma Petrasko told George, "You're one lucky guy!"
She is survived by George, her husband of 47 years, and 3 children. Todd (Lisa), Christopher (Kristina), Brandee (Brian), and her accidental Cat Sebastian. She had 10 Grandchildren: TJ, Taylor, Tory, Makayla, Brooke, Payton, Aiden, Braeden, Landen, Addison, 6 Great Grandchildren: Brody, Colton, Oakley, Axel, Amilliana, Kazi, and 16 nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind siblings Dennis Morgan, Duane (Debbie) Morgan, Brother-in-law Dave Hendrickson, Pam (Les) Haack, Dawn (Larry) Strutz, Brother-in-law Paul (Lynn) Petrasko, sister-in-law Catherine Petrasko, and b-i-l Rich (Cherie) Petrasko. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Morgan, mother Eva Rae Morgan, sister Rosalee Morgan, sister Brenda Lee Hendrickson, mother-in-law Nancy Petrasko, and Uncle Fred Meyer. A special acknowledgement to: Tammy Pitt-Birling, and Melony Jennerjohn. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the caring Doctors and medical teams of Theda Care Appleton and Neenah- where she passed. Rest in Peace Cinderella (as she was lovingly called by her M-I-L)-we love you so much.
A visitation will be held from 4-6pm, Friday, July 14, 2023 at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton. A celebration of her life will follow and we will welcome you to share your favorite "Cindy" stories!
