Cynthia "Cindy" Lou Spencer, 61, passed away with her family surrounding her on December 5, 2023. Cindy was born on January 2, 1962 in Plymouth, IN to Carl Sechrist and Martha Hively (Sechrist).
Cindy was a resident of Plymouth, IN. She was a stay-at-home mom and truckers wife. Cindy was married to her loving husband, Jerry, for 36 years and they had 7 children, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
You could find Cindy in her garden planting, weeding, and pulling her fruits and vegetables. Cindy loved to can – she did it every year. She made the best grape juice and apple butter for her family. She loved talking to her husband while crafting in her craft room making all kinds of neat things for her family and friends. Cindy was an animal lover. Cindy loved her family; family was everything to her. Cindy was a living wife, mother, and nana and she will be dearly missed by her loving family and everyone that had the opportunity to know her during her life.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Jerry Spencer; children, Regina (Jeremy) McCoige, Jerry Spencer, Jr., Troy Spencer, Ryan Spencer (Significant Other – Maryssa Guzman), Chad Spencer (Significant Other – Kayla Cole), Cody (Baylee) Spencer, and Molly Spencer; grandchildren, Shelby McCoige (Significant Other – Adam Martin), Morgan McCoige (Significant Other – Kamern Hardesty) and Zephren Spencer; great-grandchildren, Baylor Martin and the future Jocelyn Hardesty; and sibling, Issac "Pete" (Lori) Sechrist.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Sechrist and Martha Hively along with one sister.
In honor of Cindy, memorial contributions can be made to the Marshall County Humane Society, PO Box 22, Plymouth, IN 46563.
