Just 2 days from her 73rd birthday, Cynthia Faye Terheide passed on February 19, 2024. She was surrounded by her 3 children and daughter-in-law. Cynthia was born on the reservation for MHA Nation in North Dakota. At the age of 5 she was adopted and raised by Dr. Richard and Therese Iammarino. She always had a love for animals, cats and dogs alike. She was blessed with a natural artistic talent. She worked with pencil, pen and could draw beautiful images from mind. When she married her first husband she was a homemaker and would sew clothing for her children and baking. For a period of time she was a semi driver which she was proud of. She was educated as a medical assistant and cared for the aging. She enjoyed growing flowers and decorating her Victorian home while married to her 2nd husband.
She was very proud of her children. She had a contagious laugh and loved joking around. She maintained a close relationship to God and lived near her mother and siblings in recent years. She is survived by her mother Therese Iammarino, siblings; Nancy (Paul) Gnipp, David (Colleen) Iammarino, John Iammarino, numerous siblings on reservation, children; Jessica (Michael)Miletti, Craig (Kristy)Nusbaum, Corinne(Richard) Houke, grandchildren; Marissa, Jay, Bella, Jayda great grandchildren; Evelynn, Mia and lastly her cat Bugaboo whom she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her father Dr. Richard Iammarino and biological Mother, Mary Halvorson. A memorial in Pittsburgh will happen in the spring along with a ceremony after that on the reservation where she was born.
