He graduated in the class of 1961 of Robinson High School, class of 1965 E.I.U of Charleston, IL and class of 1973 MAT in History at C.S.U. Alan was an English teacher at Fort Collins High School from 1970-2001 and an English teacher at Page High School in Page, AZ from 2002-2005.
He was wedded to Susan Zell Legg in 1967 and they spent 56 amazing years together. He was father to Artemus Leo Legg (Marin Lix) and had one granddaughter, Payton.
"Life was good to me, giving a mother Irene, who never gave up on me. A life long partner, Susan with 56 years of memories. A son, Artemus, to respect and admire, that I would be proud to know and Marin (daughter in law) who has changed all of our lives for the better. A granddaughter, Payton, who is sunlight itself. 3 longtime good friends, Allen, Ron and Chad. Kassidy who epitomizes nursing."
"Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do!"
The Legg family requests, in lieu of flowers - give a friend a hug!
