Dale Zachwieja, age 66, of the Academy Gardens section of Philadelphia, PA passed away after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of 23 years to the late John Joseph Zachwieja. She is survived by her son, Steven Cichetti (Angela). She also leaves behind a granddaughter, Ava.
Dale was the daughter of Frank Burton(deceased) and Jane Schwar (deceased). She was the sister of Lynn Vizard and Jane Haegele. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends will also sadly miss her.
Dale worked at Walmart as a Customer Service Specialist for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, July 03rd at 9:30 AM in Saint Dominic's Church 8504 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19136, immediately followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Saint Dominic's Church. Interment will occur following mass at 1:30 PM. Location: Washington Crossing National Cemetery Newtown, PA.
