Dallas Ray Moore, age 77, of Union City, passed away on September 28, 2025. He was born on March 11, 1948, in Waurika, OK, to Dallas and Lucille (Reid) Moore. He graduated from Turner High School.

After high school, Dallas served in the US Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a proud veteran.

Following his military service, he returned home and worked for Uniroyal in Ardmore. In the late 70s, he moved his family to Tulsa where he attended Spartan College of Aeronautics. This began a career in aircraft mechanics.

Dallas was a man of many loves. He enjoyed music, particularly the Blues. He was also a guitarist. He was a country boy, enjoying going out to his land, hunting, and fishing. He was a longtime OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Dallas is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie; his parents; and his sisters, Shirley, Lois "Tubby", and Sandra.

He is survived by his children, Michael Holt, Travis Moore, Dallas "Scooter" Moore, Kim Hawkenson and husband John, Jessica Moore, and Sara Lunnon and husband Clint; grandchildren, Lexie, Austin, Colton, Tristan, Torrance, Aiden, Avery, Alijah, James, Lilith, and Dallas "Sam"; sisters Phyllis and Patricia "Sissy"; as well as many extended family and friends.

A memorial gathering is scheduled for Friday, October 24th, at 10am at the Draper Park Christian Church in Oklahoma City. Burial will follow at the Mustang Cemetery.
